PHP 4 and session.destroy() on IIS 4

Hi,
I have a problem with sessions.destroy(). When I call this function, session
still remains and is not destroyed. In php.ini is session.use_cookies turned
off. So, what is the problem? Can anybody help me?

PS: in directory on server (session.save_path), where sessions are
temporarily saved, sessions remains even after restarting browser. Is it OK?
