sending mail trough PHP page??

I get the following error every time I send mail.
Warning: mail() [function.mail]: "sendmail_from" not set in php.ini or
custom "From:" header missing
using this code:
mail("test@test.com", "Subject", "This is the text", "From:
test@test.com");
i have configured my php.ini to read "sendmail_from = test@test.com"
