If ($submit) { mail("address@host.com", "subject", "Name: $name\n"); } phpinfo(); ?> And see what it says. You should be able to see something like $PHP_GET_VARS["name"] = "foobar" or something similiar -----Original Message----- From: Warwick Chapman (Budgee) [mailto:Budgee@ghs.kzn.school.za] Sent: Tuesday, August 15, 2000 3:29 PM To: php-windows@lists.php.net Subject: No Luck at All! Hi Guys Sheesh if I'd known that there was a PHP-Windows list - I'd have been all over you far earlier! PHP (3 or 4) and IIS 5.0 (Windows 2000 Server) - Just doesn't work! (I will elaborate) My experience with PHP so far has been with Apache and PHP3 under Linux - that has been a dream come true. When I run PHP4 in IIS 5.0 - I get very weird form processing - PHP does not create the variables corresponding to the name="" field. Any ideas? I can post some code if you wish, but I quite sure that works - It works fine under Linux. Something like: <? If ($submit) { mail("address@host.com", "subject", "Name: $name\n"); } ?> Thanks Warwick Chapman Assistant IT Manager Glenwood High School, Durban, South Africa 031 2055241 083 7797094 www.glenwoodhighschool.co.za
