Problems installation of Apache 2.0.44 on Win2K

Hello, I would be gratefull if someone could point me in the right direction. I have sent hours trying to resolve this and even had to reinstall my operating system - windows 2000. I seem to followed all the instructions,in terms of moving the php.ini file to the C:/winnt folder and php4ts.dll file to the c:/winnt/system32 folder. when I add LoadModule php4_module c:/php-4.3.0-win32/sapi/php4apache.php in the apache configuration file and tried to start apache I get this error message on starting apache " syntax error on line 173 of c:/ Program File/Apache Group/Apache2/conf/ httpd.conf: cannot load c:/php-4.3.0-win32/sapi/php4apache.php into serve: the specificied module cannot be found." but if the line c:/php-4.3.0-win32/sapi/php4apache.php is removed I am able to start apache and connect to the local host but unable to get my phpinfo.php script going.
