you have to use ODBC or COM.
for ODBC, you have to create DSN using windows control panel applet 'ODBC
Data Sources' and then use the PHP ODBC functions with that DSN.
e.g.:
<?php
$con = odbc_connect("dsn","user","passw",SQL_CUR_USE_ODBC);
$result = odbc_do($con,"query") or die("Query Failed!");
odbc_result_all($result);
?>
for COM, you have to create ADO object to access the data.
