Copy PHP.INI-DIST from C:\PHP4 to your Windows directory and rename it to PHP.INI II. modify httpd.conf located in your Apache/conf directory: Find and modify: ServerName 127.0.0.1 (or your local IP address) DirectoryIndex index.html index.php index.php4 index.php3 Add: ScriptAlias /php/ "C:/PHP4/" AddType application/x-httpd-php .php .php4 .php3 Action application/x-httpd-php "/php4/php.exe" III. modify php.ini located in your Windows directory: Find and modify: extension_dir = C:\PHP4 All the other settings that I have modified, worked the same as their default values.
