Only if you do the writing/testing on your
local machine then you should install PHP and Mysql on your local machine, and setup IIS to work with it.
I don't know dreamweaver so I cant give you an answer to that.

Hi folks, I signed up with a remote MySQL host. Now, my plan is to use the database there to create a website using PHP. I have Windows XP Pro running IIS. I have some questions: Do I need to install ODBC on my computer? Do I need to install PHP on my computer? Do I need to install MySQL on my computer? (I assume yes) If I wanted to use a Dreamweaver MX, should this be installed last? Help much appreciated, Doug
