This is a very bad advice; $rij[voornam] is actually invalid code (but
it works anyway because of a special hack in PHP. It will generate a
warning if E_ALL is enabled in php.ini and should never be used)
My big question is: what is it that does not work? Does the script fail
to run? Are there no rows displayed? What is actually happening?
Without this kind of information, it is very hard to give good help.
