Re: GD under w2k

I am having the same problems as far as compiling the GD library is concerned, but I work for a company, and Re-Installing PHP isin't really an option. When I try to compile GD in C++ I get a range of errors starting with missing libraries (I did some research and it seems that the project expects to be located in the 'usr' directory of a compiler program called 'CygWyn'.) That means I THINK I solved some errors by downloading cygwin, creating a new project called 'usr' to match the directory where the project is to be located, copying all of the GD Image Library files to this directory, and including the files in the project. Now, I only get one error, and it states that a command variable is not set, or something like that. I know Sqilch about C++ and not enough about PHP programming. My next course of action is to see if I can read up on more C++ and try to debug this application, or find out if it is indeed a but, or just operatior error. If you have similar experience, giudance, or direction, pls feel free to make contact. If you are feeling rightous and are about to flame me, can-it.
