Hello,
I am trying to install a newer version of libxml on my machine. I
downloaded and installed version 2.5.7 of libxml2.dll in my windows and
windows\system32 directories. However, when I run phpinfo, it tells me I am
still running version 2.4.30.
Now here is the odd thing... even if I don't have the libxml2.dll installed
anywhere on my machine I can still load the php_domxml.dll (with the same
version reported as above). Is there a different filename that php looks
for before it looks for libxml2.dll?!?
Another question (the reason why I am trying to upgrade my libxml):
I am working with xml files which have the following on the second line:
"<?xmlspysps C:\Program
Files\Altova\AUTHENTIC\sps\template\TeachEngineering\broadcategory.sps?>"
This is inserted by some software I am using. Does anyone know why this
processing instruction causes domxml to choke?
Can anyone help?
