ODBC I believe is the default connection name when none is specified. You have the code mysql_pconnect($hostname_storeunclesam, $username_storeunclesam, $password_storeunclesam), but have you set a value to all the variables? You need to set $username_storeunclesam and $password_storeunclesam to the username and password used for your MySQL account. Stephen P.S.
