IIS5 with PHP4 - please help !!!

Hi,
I downloaded php4pl2 and install it on Win2000 Prof. using isapi filter, but after some of time IIS
hang :-((
Two months ago I asked Andi Gutmans for extension fro Postgres7 (many thanks!!!!), but I can't
using it at all, because IIS hangs.
Without this extension it hangs also :-((
Maybe I should install it as cgi, not isapi?? Can I use extension for Postgres if I do this?
I'm newbe in PHP, it will works only for my learning, so I'm not about performance, it
could works slowly.
Please, help me instal PHP4 on IIS5. maybe is there an newer version of PHP?

P.S. I don't want install Linux, or Apache on Win2000 :-)
