Maybe you have to set up your temp directory in php.ini, but normally the
standart-temp-directory on win98 is C:\windows\temp.
For uploads with a formular you have to put into your form tag for example:
<FORM method="post" enctype="multipart/form-data"
action="image.php4">
<b>Your name:</b><BR><INPUT name="name" type="text"
size="55"><BR>
<b>Your comment:</b><BR><TEXTAREA name="message" rows=10 cols=55
wrap=virtual>
</TEXTAREA><BR>
<b>file:</b><input name="Picture" type="file"><BR>
<INPUT name="submit" type="submit" value="Post your comments">
</FORM>
The php-script gets the file as $Picture
It works fine on my machine with win98 and PWS.

Hi
I have never been able to get Windows to accept uploaded a file. Has anyone
ever solved this problem? The same scripts work fine on my Linux server,
but if I try to test them locally they don't work. I think that it has
something to do with permissions on the temp directory, but I'm not sure.
Thanks
