Hi all !
I have a table with 2 columns : Date and Name.
All of records are sorted ( order by Date).
I want to select Date,Name and number of record in table(not in result).
ex:
I have a table:
Date Name
9/5/2000 A
9/3/2000 B
9/2/2000 A
9/1/2000 D
order by date :
Date Name
9/1/2000 D
9/2/2000 A
9/3/2000 B
9/5/2000 A
numbering records:
Number Date Name
1 9/1/2000 D
2 9/2/2000 A
3 9/3/2000 B
4 9/5/2000 A
I want to select records having Name=A.
result of query:
Number Date Name
2 9/2/2000 A
4 9/5/2000 A
How can I do ?
