I get the self same error.
I really don't understand all this stuff at all. I am surprised to hear myself saying it but
asp it so much easier. I think the mysql and php people think it is all so obvious that
documentation (read explanation) is not required.
I have all this stuff running on nt workstation and all seems well to a point. I have a batch file
that recreates my Access tables in mysql. I have attached these to Access and run queries to create
the data.
But I cannot get php to work at all.
If I do this
<html>
<head>
</head>
<body>
<?
$db = mysql_connect("localhost", "root");
mysql_select_db("test",$db);
?>
</body>
</html>
Fatal error: Call to unsupported or undefined function mysql_connect() in
C:\mysql\data\test\test1.php3 on line 10
And cannot find any explanation of what is going on
Regards
Peter
