Persistent connections in win32 is problematic. See

Subject: [PHP-WIN] mysql_pconnect and Mysql for win32
Hi!
Does anybody know if permament connections (mysql_pconnect) works with MySql
for windows?
For Mysql versions 3.21.xx and 3.23.xx (both in beta versions) I've got too
many connection error after some time of using it. I tought that pconnect
resolves existing connections but it looks like with mysql for win it
doesn't.
I've tried to set some mysql variables to shorter time but with no effect
:-(( In processlist I get 101 threads (it's default max_connections) and
almost all connections are "sleeping".
Unix version of mysql seems to work good with p_connect.
Or maybe there is error in PHP (for windows) mysql_pconnect() function?
I'm using PHP 4.0.1pl2 as an Apache(1.3.12) module. WinNT 4.0 workstation.
Any ideas?
Thanks.
