ERROR- INSERT FAILED

Why cant I Insert form input, namely, a variable named "name" and another variable named "pass" into my SQLserver7 dbase with table"users"? --mssql_connect allows a connection with a specified user and the table within dbase called has granted insert privileges to the same user Im using php's mssql_result($sql) where $sql= INSERT INTO users (name, pass) VALUES($name, $pass) I seem to mssql_pconnect and mssql_select_db to server just fine......help! -- henry cavillones rich media developer b r a i n c r a f t p212.539.1680 ext.205 www.braincraft.com
