Thanks to both folks for the pointers - the registry key is indeed specified
in the Reg file in the PHP program directory, and it only configures the .PHP
suffix. Once found, it's easy to add an extra key for PHP3, though
stop-starting PWS wasn't enough to make it work - I had to restart the whole
server, which I guess is par the for the course with Windows.
I don't know how these things get done, but it might be worth suggesting to
whoever builds the PHP3-Win distribution that adding a default key for .PHP3
files would be sensible, and likewise adding one for .PHP4 for the beta v4
distribution. :-)
Should I suggest this for inclusion in the FAQ, or is it too trivial ? Any FAQ
folks listening?
Thanks again,
