I've been unable to get sessions working with Win NT2000 using IIS5 and PHP4 (released).
The PHP file I'm using comes right out of the manual pages from Zend's site and works perfectly on my Linux system.
Here's the behavior I'm noting with Windows:
- A session file DOES get created in the specified session.save_path
- The file is always 0K (on Linux, it contains stuff like count|i:8; )
- In small scripts, an empty document gets returned to the browser
- In medium scripts, I get warnings about trying to redeclare functions
- System CPU goes to 100%, 99% is in DDLHOST.EXE
- Comment out session_register() and the scripts work without complaint
Has anyone else verified sessions are broken on Windows? Is there a fix?
