I've been reading the book "Web Application Development with PHP 4.0",
by Tobias Ratschiller and Till Gerken (New Riders, ISBN: 0-7357-0997-1).
On page 264, it talks about LibXML integration saying, "Since version
4.0 [of PHP], a new XML parser is built into PHP: LibXML".
Now, I have downloaded the Win32 version of PHP 4.0.2 and run
php_info(), which tells me that XML is included - though no indication
of what XML. I have successfully run some of the Expat-based examples.
I have also coded some of the examples that use LibXML only to suspect
that it is not part of this platform distribution. Am I correct in this
conclusion?
The platform for which I'm developing is strictly Win32. I don't have
the option of LINUX. Am I out of luck with LibXML in PHP 4 for Win32 or
am I missing something here?
I really want to use LibXML with PHP 4 under Windows NT 4. Can anyone
tell me how I can make this happen?
