Maybe solution will be: after
> $dbh = ibase_connect ($host, $username , $password);
put:
ibase_select_db("name_of_database", $dbh);
and then:
> $stmt = 'CREATE TABLE T1 (P1 INTEGER NOT NULL PRIMARY KEY)';
