here is the code that is not working anymore. <--start--> <? if ($message) { /* uncomment the next two lines to strip out html from input */ /* $name = strip_tags($name); */ /* $message = strip_tags($message); */ $message = ereg_replace("\r\n\r\n", "\n
", $message); $date = date("D, M j Y, h:i a T"); $message = "$name -- $date
$message

"; // first read the file into a buffer, if it exists $textfile = basename($PHP_SELF) . ".comment"; if ($fp = @fopen ($textfile, "r")) // open without complaining $oldmessages = @fread($fp,filesize($textfile)); @fclose(fp); } // now reopen the file in write mode, with the // pointer at the head of the file $fp = fopen ($textfile, "w"); fwrite ($fp, $message); fwrite ($fp, $oldmessages); // adding back the old messages fclose ($fp); } @readfile(basename(($PHP_SELF . ".comment"))); ?> <--end--> It is surounded by some html for the input boxes etc. you can see it here at http://darkness.dynip.com/test-php/forum.php after trying just the php.exe it seems that works because http://darkness.dynip.com/test-php/test.php works. but for some reason the forum will just sit there. if i change to use the php4iaspi.dll it goes right away and comes up with the error. I have the php.exe setup as follows d:\PHP\php.exe > %s %s and for the dll it is just d:\php\php4isapi.dll What code is specifically not working?
