Hi all,
I've solved my JVM problem after several hours tweaking. Solution: The
PHP.INI configuration *also* required php_java.dll to be copied into the
java.library.path directory. After properly setting the paths, PHP4 ext/Java
*works*. There seems to be a lack of documentation on how to set up PHP to
instantiate javabeans using the php_java.dll method. If there are other
people having the same problem, feel free to email me. I'm working on making
use of COM and Java in PHP4 and everything seems to be going to plan. OLEDB
Provider is visibly *faster* than ODBC for data access. Java seems to be
very fast too through the Java Native Interface, and the javabean works like
a COM Object. ;)
