What can folks tell me about using setlocale() under Windows NT 4? I
have the following code which is thinking that the date is in US format.
date( "l dS of F Y h:i:s A", strtotime( "3/10/2000" ) )
Now, I'm in Australia and I'd like to see this interpreted by
strtotime() as an Australian date, giving me the third of October, but
I'm getting the tenth of March instead.
I've looked at setlocale() but I'm not sure how to call it under Windows
NT. I've tried the following call for setlocale() prior to the data
manipulation:
setlocale( 'LC_TIME', 'en_AU' )
but this has no effect. In fact, it returns a null as its value
indicating that its not supported under Windows NT, according to the PHP
manual.
I've made sure that the regional settings for Windows NT are set
correctly. Does anyone have any other ideas?
Cheers, S t u a r t .
