Does anybody know where you can download just the Oracle 8.1.6 client and
Oracle Universal installer?
From my experience the 8.1.6 client is available but to use with the
Universal Installer. The only place i could find the universal installer was
in the 8.1.6 server.
Any ideas?

You'll want to download php4.0.2 (8-31 build) from www.php4win.de. This
distribution includes the Oracle 8 extension.
Also, make sure you have the latest Oracle client (8.1.6) as this extension
(php_oci8.dll) only works with 8i client.
After you've installed php4.0.2 and oracle client, let us know and we can
help you further.
