Hola Jorge, I know what you've been throught because I used to have the same problem, until I changed my ISP. I've been browing my older files to try and find the scripts that I created to achieve that function, but so far I've been unable to find them. What I can tell you is that if you understand anything about socket programming, you can connect directly to your SMTP server (something like "telneting" to it) and send the authentication manually. What you've been trying to do in Windows, is to use PHP's sendmail functions which unfortunately won't work. Windows will not allow you to use the mail functions, because these depend on the system's ability to send mail from the command line (like Unix's sendmail). What you actually need to do is to connect directly to the SMTP server using sockets, perform the username/password negotiation and then send the e-mail. As I told you I can't find my scripts, but if you go to php.net, and browse their links area carefully, you'll eventually find the same help I did. Look in the other sites, until you find a set of functions called "SMTPsend", or similar, then read the smtp.inc and try to understand the smtpconnect() function. In there, you'll add the username/password verification, right after the connection is achieved. Sorry I can't help you further, but at least its a beginning...
