Sybase SQL Server problem

Is it anyone who has managed to use the php_sybase_ct.dll (PHP4.) to
connect to, and work with, Sybase SQL Server ?
As soon as I try to do a sybase_connect, or sybase_pconnect, I get a visit
from Dr. Watson.
So if anyone has managed to do this please let me know.
I would even appreciate an negative answer if someone have tried, but didn't
manage.
