I want to create a virtual directory on a web site running on IIS5 and
PHP 3.0.16. The website itself is running fine, the virtual directory
should basically pont to same folder as the web root, its purpose is to
enable me to switch databases depending on the folder the user is
pointing at.
e.g. mydomain.com\index.html will use database A
mydomain.com/new/index.html will use database B (or other, specific
tables from database A)
The problem is that all files in the virtual directory parsed by PHP
give me the notorious "No input file specified" error. So, looks like
php.exe can't find them, because it's trying to find the virtual
directory "new" in the file structure of the webroot directory. Non-php
files display correctly.
Has anybody experienced this problem? Any workarounds? Basically, I need
to be able to acces the same set of files from two different locations
and o be able to make some switches depending on the file path in
$PHP_SELF
