To get PHP and Apache working, you need to add one of two sets of lines to
your httpd.conf... first though, make sure you have the latest version
(php4.0.3) from www.php4win.de which includes the Apache SAPI module...
To load PHP as Apache Module, add these three lines to your httpd.conf:
ScriptAlias /php/ "c:/php4/"
LoadModule php4_module "/php/sapi/php4apache.dll"
AddType application/x-httpd-php .php .php3 .php4
For running PHP as a CGI executable, add these lines:
ScriptAlias /php/ "c:/php4/"
Action application/x-httpd-php "/php/php.exe"
AddType application/x-httpd-php .php .php3 .php4
These settings assume, of course, that you have PHP installed in c:\php4,
with the apache module located in the c:\php4\sapi subdirectory. It is also
recommended, before you try loading PHP under Apache, to *comment out* any
extensions in you php.ini.... that way you can be sure that Apache and PHP
are talking BEFORE you try to reload any extensions.
