Hi All:
I don't have a dedicated server for my office intranet (15 computers),
so the strongest workstation doubles as web server (I know, I know,
not the best choice :( ). After installing PHP as an apache module a
strange side-effect appeared: I usually start all applications (ie.
Word, Excel, whatever) using hot-keys, but now every time I press a
hot-key the computer suffers a short (about 5 sec.) "lockup", and then
starts the invoked application.
After some testing, I found the following:
-It happens every time.
-Only with PHP as module, not as CGI.
-Tried with Win95 and Win98, and both suffer the same problem.
-Happened with PHP 4.0.2, 4.0.3 dev and 4.0.3 (didn't try previous
versions).
-Doesn't seem to have any other negative side-effect.
My Apache is 1.3.12. Anybody else having this problem? Would a bug
report be justified? Any suggestion on how to fix this? Thanks,
Gonzalo.
