Hello
Since Windows98 appears to ignore the second parameter in the mkdir() function
How does one set permissions on directories made on the fly?
For example
$dir="$applicant";
mkdir($dir,0700);
Then, if I try to use the new directory , I will get an "Unable to open 'blah' for
reading: Permission denied in ... "
Thanks kindly
Elmer
I am using PWS on Win98 and php4
