Subject: [PHP-WIN] mail() errors
I have set up PHP4 on my windows machine.
In php.ini :
I set the SMTP string to be my SMTP server.
I set the FROM string to be my email address.
I did not set the sendmail_path string because I thought that was for
unix-type machines.
I am getting an "unknown error" when trying to send mail from the mail()
function.
Is that all I need to do to send mail from a PHP script?
Do I need to have some kind of sendmail program also?
If so what are some reccomendations?
-thanks
