Serkan, Hi. When you use setcookie, it's essentially like using the Header function. These two function cannot come after sending any html. So for instance, <? echo "Blah"; setcookie("wookie"); ?> would return the error you are speaking of. You would need to do this: <? setcookie("wookie"); echo "Blah"; ?> I hope that is clear. -Flint -----Original Message----- From: Serkan [mailto:s.serkan@chello.nl] Sent: Thursday, September 21, 2000 11:59 PM To: php-windows@lists.php.net Cc: s.serkan@chello.nl Subject: [PHP-WIN] HEADER PROBLEM OR MISCONFIGURATION HI all.. Line 36 says..setcookie("visit_id", $visit_data[id], time()+(60*60*24*365*10), "/"); Is this problem familiar to someone.....another question..I think they are related to each....whenever I use <A href="somesite">go</a> in my script..dont matter if its as php file or html file I get the following message "The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request"... Did I misconfigure something in apache or php4?..... Thanxx to all...
