PHP Access Violation

Hi, I'm running php4.0.3pl1 on IIS4 nt4.0. Every once in a while php will
just halt for an unknown reason and it will return this..
PHP has encountered an Access Violation at 0D884CE6
I've got no idea what is causing this or how to make it stop. It'll work for
a while but then it will just stop. only way to fix this is to restart iis
or reboot. then it's all better, but every few days this happens. btw. i'm
running php as a module. I never got this message before running php4.0.2.
however i have gd extension in now, and didnt have it in on older versions.
might this somehow be the cause? if anyone could help i'd appreciate a
response.
