The ORA-03114 error is Oracle's way of telling you that you are not connected to Oracle. I this case, I suspect it may be a bogus error since you encountered the infamous NT access error. Try granting read access to the IIS_USR to the oralce\bin directory. It appears the php oracle dll may be trying to use something in that directory. As far as the rollback message is concerned. Since you are using a persistent connection the Oracle transaction starts when you initiate the PLogin and remains until you logout or commit. If the session was open from a previous web request and the transaction aborts Oracle lets you know a rollback was attempted. It appears that in this case, unsuccessfully. Evil Access Violation. IIS 4, NT 4, Oracle Client 8.1.6, Oracle Server 7.3.4, PHP 4.03 (from php4win) OK, new problem with the same monster... Anyone know what this means? PHP has encountered an Access Violation at 604B0AE1 Warning: failed to rollback outstanding transactions!: ORA-03114: not connected to ORACLE in D:\thepath\cc_res_search\res_search.php on line 0 What is weird about this is that the ONLY SQL statement is a SELECT statement... how/why would there even be a rollback possibility?
