Initially it is more or less a straight port of the latest daily build (from
yesterday) of manual.zip. However, I would love to add new content to it,
providing the PHP Documentation Group would allow it to be rolled into the
main documentation.
I should have a beta version of the CHM file in an area where you guys can
download it within the next day or two (only thing left to do is add the
function reference links to the Table of Contents - which is no small task).
I will post the URL for you to download it as soon as it's done, at which
time I would love some feedback/criticism/etc.
So far I've had an excellent response to the idea, I'm looking forward to
seeing what you guys think of the end product.

Sounds good to me.
I normally go online to read but I'm sure I would use it more if it was
local.
I would like to see examples for functions also, would this be possible??
