I too am having problems. I have mailed this list before
and tried a few suggestions (thanks) but none have worked.
I am using the latest PHP + Zend.
I have done the following:
(a) copied php.exe to apache\scripts
(b) copied modified php.ini to winnt
(c) copied php4ts.dll to winnt\system32
(d) placed zend dll on system and point to it in php.ini
(e) my sendmail is on a Unix box
If I now run php.exe mymail.php
<?
echo "Doing mail\n";mail("L.S.Davis@ex.ac.uk", "Hello", "Message\r\n"); ?> I get: Doing mail <br> <b>Warning</b>: Unknown error in <b>E:mymail.PHP</b> on line <b>3</b><br> The exact same script and files etc work fine on Win95, Win98 and Win NT4 but not on W2K server. It looks as if the mail() function isn't even getting to the point of trying to send mail. Maybe I am doing something really silly? Thanks
