I have encountered one strange problem with PHP3 and Apache which run
under Win98system.
I have one Php file written as follows:
<HTML>
<FORM>
Please type your name here:<BR>
<INPUT TYPE=TEXT NAME=username<BR><BR>
<INPUT TYPE=SUBMIT VALUE="Submit data">
</FORM>
<BR><BR>
You type:
<?
echo($username);
?>
</HTML>
The output in browser showed results except for the contents of <? and
?>. I'm using Internet Explorer 5.0 for this purpose.
The settings in httpd.conf file have been configured accordingly the
normal settings as found in manual.
Some of these settings are as follow:
ScriptAlias /php3/ "C:\Program Files\PHP\"
AddType application/x-httpd-php3 .php3
AddType application/x-httpd-php3-source .phps
AddType applicaton/x-httpd-php3 .phtml
Action application/x-httpd-php3 /php3/php.exe
The php3.ini was installed in c:\win98 directory. Php3 programs in
c:\Program Files\Php.
Does anyone face this similar problem before ? Have you got it solved ?
Please let me know the solution if available. I need your need indeed.
Thank you very much
