hi
your httpd.conf seems to be o.k.; i checked mine on nt4 (sp6, apache 1.3.14,
php4.03pl1)

the php file like "hello.php" is there. I installed PHP4 in three >Win2k

i myself never encountered this problem, but my suggestion:
1.) have a look at the error log of apache. what says this?
2.) enable error log for php in php.ini to verify it isn`t a php problem
3.) ( a bit stupid, but sometimes problems are strange?!): try a script
under htdocs, if succeed copy the same script under htdocs/examples
4.) to recieve more help, post your error log of apache, the php-sript you
wanna ececute
hope it helps
