Hi there!
Just got the PHP version 4.0 and am quite new in the field.
In order to do the MySQL install, I opened the software directory directly
without using Windows Explorer.
Everything went fine, until I tried to create the test database in DOS.
Instead, it immediately prompts the Connection window. When I cancel, the
following message appear:
"Connect to server 'localhost' failed.... error: can't connect to MySQL
server on 'localhost' (10061)".
When I telnet it states that the connection failed.
I am working on Windows 95.
What to do? Should I uninstall? How? I worry it messes up the machine...
THX!!
Liane
