Hi There
I creating the ADO COM objects in PHP and using them to access a SQL Server
database. This is all working fine. One thing I have noticed, however, is
that the connections to the database never get released. If I run sp_who on
the SQL Server database, I get a new connection everytime, which is not
killed after my script has finished executing. This obviously causes a
problem as every time I access a PHP page, a new connection is created and I
end up with tons of them.
Any one else had this problem or have any ideas how I might resolve it? I
don't want to use the mssql70 extension, since I like the database
abstraction of ADO.
Thanks in advance for any help
Cheers
Peter
