Further to my earlier mail on the subject, I think I have now narrowed the
problem down a bit.
I wrote a small windows executable which just outputs a header and a hello
world:
int main(int arcg,char *argv[])
{
printf("Content-type: text/html\n\n");
printf("<html><head><title>test</title><body><h1>Hello
world</h1></body></html>");
return(0);
}
and built it as test.exe.
If I put test.exe in the same directory as my php.exe with exactly the same
file permissions, and then
change the php script mapping to point to test.exe instead of php.exe, I get
the 'Hello World' output to my web browser.
This implies (to me anyway) that I haven't misconfigured IIS in the
management console, but something
is amiss somewhere as php is either not running or at least not outputting
anything, even though the very same php and ini file work fine on a
different virtual directory.
Any thoughts?
