Thanks for your tries. My first post contained all of my code, php.ini had
the 2 meg default setting in it and it wouldn't work on any file text or
binary from 1k to 1meg.
As you see the code doesn't have to specifically handle the file, just give
me it's name. Since I already know how to handle the file once it actually
gets on the server I knew that if this code were to work I could do
everything else I wanted.
On my IIS server, using the first snippett as the form and selecting any
file (1k to 1meg), posting to the second snippett results in this error in
PHP3, PHP4 outputs nothing.:
File Upload Error: Boundary Length Exceeds Limit
<>< Ryan
Code Repeated:
<form name="form1" ENCTYPE="multipart/form-data" method="post"
action="handler.phtml">
Upload:<input type="hidden" name="MAX_FILE_SIZE" value="500000">
<input type="file" name="uploadfile">
<input type="submit"></form>
inside handler.phtml I have this:
<?PHP
echo $uploadfile_name," ",$uploadfile;
?>
