set target with Header?

All through my script I check for authentication when loading a page. I also use frames with a standard htm on top and left sides. My scripts run primarily in the main body of the page. However, if my cookie expires when and I try to run a search or what not, the authentication portion of the script uses the 'header' function to return a htm login page in the main section of the fameset.
