My company is developing an application where we use a web browser to record
attendees at a group function and we want to use PHP 4 for the development.
One of the application requirements is to print an ticket to go into a prize
drawing. We know how to use the html print function; but that doesn't really
give us the printing flexibility that we need.
What we are envisioning is creating a PHP script, running on a WinNT server
(where PHP 4 lives), that runs every minute. The script would read a db
table looking for tickets to print, access another db table to select and
format the print file and write it to a networked windows printer. Is it
possible for a PHP script to write to a windows printer like this?
