Ok, please bear with, just learning PHP. Anyways, im running win 98,
apache, php 4 and mysql. I have a table with a date field (date no null).
And I have a form with a text input for the date. When a user brings up the
form in the browser, the field is automatically populated with the system
date using ' date("Y-m-d") ' which inserts the date into the form field in
the yyyy-mm-dd format. However, once the form is submitted and the input is
passed to a script for inserting the record. For some reason the date is
not being placed into the table, it is just 0000-00-00. What simple aspect
am I overlooking?
