Subject: Releasing code contributions...
Hello:
I've found a limitation about PHP calling MSSQL 7 stored procedures with
return values and output variables.
I would like to add a couple of stored procedure-related API calls to
php_mssql.dll, and I want to make it available to everyone. No, I don't want
to use ODBC, thanks.
Is there already some work on progress? (just to know whether I have to
start from scratch or not). Do I have to contact MSSQL 7 extension's
maintainer? (Mr. Frank M. Kromann as I read from php_mssql.c comments). In
case those "extensions" I plan to code are not accepted into the official
tree, may I publish them freely in my web site? Is there any kind of mention
for this humble contributions?
I have many more questions about this, because I'm new to open source
development, so any information or link would be appreciated.
Thanks!
