I know this has been addressed multiple times, but I have thus far been
unable to fix my "Unable to parse configuration file" problem:
I am trying to install php4 on NT4 running IIS3. Last year I installed php3
on this system with no problem, but I cannot get past the
config file error with php4 . (Prior to the php4 installation, I removed the
php3 files).
I installed php4 into D:\php: using the Windows installer. I've assured
that the appropriate dlls and php.ini are in the proper directories. I am
trying to access PHP via odbc (which according to the documentation is
preconfigured -- along w/ MySQL-- with php4). I would try changing the
php.ini extension_dir to D:\php, but I can't get to the server this weekend.
Is there any reason to believe that would fix my problem?)
By the way, I installed php4 on my home W98 test system running Xitami w/ no
problem (installed php into c:\php on this system).
Thanks for any help you can provide.
