PHP Version: 4.0.2

Short Desc.:
Cannot pass COM object as parameter to another COM object
"
it's becoming a major stumbling block in the current project my team
is on, and I was wondering if anyone's found a workaround for the
problem. in the bug listing the guy who posted the bug originally
lists the bit from the source code where he thinks the problem lies.
so, I was also wondering whether or not anyone had tried patching the
code and recompiling, and if so what their results were like.
Anyone?
