I had the same problem.
the problem is that there is no dll for the php socket functions available
for win32 yet (to my knowledge). If you find one let me know to please! I
want it.

Subject: [PHP-WIN] Help get sockets working
I'm trying to use the socket functions (php ver 4.04), but I keep getting
the error "call to undefined function socket()". Can anyone tell me how to
enable the sockets library?
Thanks
